You earn a varying amount of points depending on the activity and the focus that we have for the month. Please note that the points are a rolling 30 day average so make sure you keep coming back or you could lose at the end of the month.

For authors you get rewarded for all of the same things readers get awarded points for plus extra points for creating fairs, submitting books to fairs, completing book reviews, and other tasks that only authors have the ability to do in our system. We would encourage you to come back often as well because participating is a great way to get more eyes on your books plus it gives you the best chance to win prizes.

All users can see the point leaderboard on the home page and for authenticated users on their main dashboard. Users that login will also be able to view their actual point totals which is a great way to figure out what is earning you the most points in any given month. Please remember that points can change at any point and time and they in fact will intentionally change to keep all of us on our toes. The main goal there is to give everyone a great chance to win a prize.

There is no need to do anything special to win. As you use the site, we keep track of everything and the winners will receive an email in the first week of the month to let them know that they won.
