The Accidental Realm shifter presents an excellent amalgamation of quantum physics and yogic practices. Authored by Peter R. Hall, the tale skilfully captures the true essence of both the spiritual and the physical sciences. The story features an autistic young man named David Caffrey who suddenly begins hearing a strange voice in his head. It turns out that, this strange voice was his great-granddaughter from the future, contacting him to prevent a terrorist attack that will lead to a chain of catastrophic worldwide events. The book is filled with philosophical aspects about the world blending ancient practices with quantum physics. The author had done an excellent job in using David Caffrey to represent neurodiversity throughout the story. The Book consists of 407 pages and twenty-seven chapters. The story unfolds with David Caffrey meeting new people and discovering truths about the world. The character development of the protagonist, David, is commendable as he changes from an introvert who barely talked with anyone to a person who believes in forging bonds with people. Though it’s a fast paced story, however, some readers may find the beginning a bit slow but as the tale progresses, it speeds up significantly.
