These shape our lives away from teaching the true doctrine of Christ The Anointing through our thoughts. In our modern society, so many things shackle most Christians, but they cannot set themselves free because they do not know of their bondage and vehemently refuse to accept the truth because they feel safe. Set The Captives Free directs itself toward revealing insights into the truth behind cheerful believers in chains, and challenges readers to test their freedom amid controversy. I love this book because of the open-mindedness and astuteness of the authors writings. Researched in sound Biblical doctrine, the authors writing style is emphatic, thought-provoking, and fascinating, backed up with several Biblical scriptures and real-life examples that add further intensity to its key messages. A relevant example is the spiritual maturity, understanding, and wisdom Jesus possessed in front of various religious leaders even at the age of twelve, signifying the need to advance in ones belief systems, from a student to a truly refined leader. Another example is the evasive reaction of a Catholic friend of the author towards the contents of the first book, The Daily Stand, proving the inability of this Catholic to defend truths that challenge his belief system a notable symptom of Stockholm syndrome. This book creates a staggering contrast between believers in captivity and the believers living in freedom and transformation. These captives are likened to the Israelites, who are set free from Egyptian captivity, but are punished to roam in the wilderness for 40 years before settling in the land of milk and honey. Christians in captivity live in deluded belief systems, oppression, the weight of sin, mental slavery, the weight of imposed expectations, and physical enslavements, because of Stockholm Syndrome, the feeling of safety, influence from others, lack of compliance, wrongful leadership practices, and religious peer pressures. I have no dislikes to offer, nor did I encounter any grammatical or typographical mistakes. Filled with Greek words referenced from Old and New Testament scriptures, this book includes their anglicized meanings on the same pages, so readers can easily comprehend them. This book is morally educative, insightful, and transformational, and therefore I do not hesitate to rate it 5 stars. Set the Captives Free heightens the essence of true believers exhibiting self-worth, virtues, transformation, rightful leadership, belief in God, walking in His Anointing, and standing in His Authority, free from falseness and bondage.
