Here a young princess saddled with the responsibility of rulership on occurrence of her father's death but consider herself unfit because of her ailment. The story is narrated directly without much course to ponder on the next scene with easy and comprehendible words. Each chapter was direct and straight to point. The book is professionally edited as I could not find any typographical error while reading. My only gripe about the book is its boring or better said, its slow beginning but the latter end is filled with suspense. I rate this book a perfect four out of five stars for its unique addition to the courage, resilience and confidence tale It's a perfect read for teenagers, adults and young adults, it will appeal more to females since the protagonist is a female. A precise help to everyone finding it hard to push through life's journey with courage and self-assurance. "Life is worth living even with its struggles".

McCafferty also provides a positive message for those who listen to and watch Aria; that is, one is still valuable and able to make a difference despite having mental health problems. When her mother falls ill and dies of a mystery illness, Aria starts to develop anxiety because if a mystery illness took her mother's life, it could well take hers too. For a year and a half following the death, she developed panic attacks worries, and anxiety which they her best to hide from her loved ones. At the same time, Landa, the daughter of the flock of phoenix leaders, is dealing with her struggles and self-doubt after losing her fire, the phoenix's pride and ultimate weapon. By a twist of fate, the two heiresses join forces to stop a great evil from destroying their peaceful lives. The author portrayed the characters in the book amazingly and proved that mental illness or issues do not mean the end of the world. Landa and Aria both have their fair share of challenges and demons to face, but do they have the boldness and all it takes to face them? I also like how her boyfriend Jayce stood with her through the various challenges and set his mind to save her from the will, despite having a similar experience involving his sister. The book shows how people can build confidence, stay strong during difficult times and challenges, and still keep their focus on positive things. The story teaches us how important it is to have inner strength and not give up when facing struggles and struggles. I love this book and I would give it a five-star rating because it is very simple relatable and very inspiring, I don't dislike anything about the book and would recommend the book to readers who enjoy fantasy, magic, and heartfelt emotions.

I was greatly intrigued by Landa, the Phoenix, who seemed to be going through a similar ordeal, albeit one peculiar to her birdlike nature. After an incident with water, Landa couldn't seem to ignite herself (something all Phoenix are meant to do). Will these two overcome their personal challenges, or will they fail to live up to the responsibilities crafted out for them? It's left for readers to find out. I have to give credit to the author for how each character was quite easy to relate with. I recommend this book to people of all ages, although it contains content dealing with anxiety, health anxiety, depression, obsessive-compulsive disorder, and suicidal ideation.

Readers are Aria's constant concerns of fear and all-consuming fear, so any slight sensations of the body become a premonition of illnesses. The neverending onslaught of physical and emotional problems she suffers happens to be stronger than in reality. The inability of Rodeo to make use of her phoenix powers represents the internal struggles of depression and self-hatred that are part and parcel of mental illness. Being alone and the fear of asking for help are the things that both characters go through.   Even if the theme is deep, McCafferty has a propensity for striking a balance between the fantasy and adventure sides of things. There is something quite captivating about the way in which magical beings like phoenixes take us away to different worlds where magic is real. A thorough depiction of varied kingdoms and cultures contributes greatly to the maintenance of a bright and exciting universe. I think the initial explanation of Aria's condition and the reason behind it is more than enough, and letting the readers use their imagination and interpretation of her actions without the need to explain it in the same way as Landa will improve the quality of the narration. I would also appreciate more elaboration on how Rodrick manipulated the others, as it is briefly mentioned without providing a satisfying explanation. Another perplexing part for me is how Aria is easily overpowered at one point without much struggle despite undergoing fine training from an early age with what I assume are the best trainers in her kingdom. Despite the previously mentioned drawbacks, I still enjoyed reading this novel very much, and my curiosity about the events in the squeals wasn't affected. So I will gladly recommend it to any fantasy lover. However, readers who have these emotional vulnerabilities concerning the issues of mental health, depression, and self-harm should be careful because the book contains such triggering subjects.

I am inspired by the series to have the bravery and persistence to face and conquer my obstacles, even when they appear insurmountable. What counts most is that the plot was captivating and the suspense was subtly built. Nevertheless, I would recommend the book to readers who are objective and imaginative.

Landa and Aria both have their own demons to face, but do they possess the courage to face them? I like how her boyfriend Jayce stood with her through everything and set his mind to save her from the creature, despite having a similar experience involving his sister.   I have no criticism whatsoever about the book because it was written well by an author fighting her own battles, which I truly admire. I would recommend the book to lovers of fantasy, and the content warnings deal with mental illnesses including anxiety, depression, suicidal ideation, and obsessive-compulsive disorder.

Will these two ever conquer their destructive struggles, or will this be the road to their continuous downward spiral? Diving into this book is your sure bet to find out. Off to a rather slow start, the author eventually picked me up from my gloomy mood at the beginning to a more hopeful position as I moved through the pages of the book. I must completely appreciate and acknowledge the author's extensive descriptive ability, I could almost feel everything the characters felt as I read. A fantasy fiction with such a rich emotional theme is really what the whole world needs to keep seeing, as it holds interest while soothingly passing profound messages. The book pointed out that mental health challenges cannot be cured by medicine but by constant advice which may even make the condition seem shameful- and that part got me in serious thoughts. No doubt, this book is one of the best I have read this year, and I seriously cannot wait to read the next one. I will gladly recommend it to fantasy lovers, and anyone suffering from any mental health challenge or knows someone who is. Their sparks shall rise too.

With no one to talk to who would understand because of this book she was able to talk to her mum and me about how she was feeling. The characters are wonderful and the story flows easily. There is no shame in admitting that you are suffering from it and seeking help. unites two unlikely heroines, as they battle external evils while combating their internal demons. This action fantasy is destined to touch the hearts of many. The book is about facing your insecurities, in spite of your deepest fears, and rising above them all. This book reminds readers that despite their personal hardships, they too can triumphantly rise from the ashes like a phoenix. Is exquisitely written. It speaks wonders to its readers. The author broaches the topic of mental illness with consideration, sensitivity and respect. The novel encourages readers to not when it comes to their mental health and mental care. It is an inspirational reminder that mental illness does not render a person unable to live a healthy, vibrant and purposeful life. Nor is mental illness something that persons should feel ashamed of or strive to conceal. Aria and Landa's friendship serves as a powerful reminder that only with positive support can we thrive, regardless of our various interpersonal challenges. The characters were excellently developed, and the story follows Aria, the human, and Landa, the phoenix, in alternate chapters. Beautifully written, with each subplot nicely concluded. It was a unique and engrossing read.

Aria, the princess of Torrannon, has fallen into depression in light of her mother's passing. This once exuberant and confident young woman now experiences overwhelming panic attacks and crippling anxiety. Simultaneously, Landa the phoenix (the daughter of a revered phoenix leader) is experiencing severe low self-esteem. Two years prior, a strong crosswind knocked Landa into an icy lake during mid-flight. She would have drowned had her father not saved her life. Ever since that incident, Landa has been fraught with anxiety and deep inner insecurities. Fate unites these two fledglings, when Landa gets wind that King Rodrick, a tyrannical king, plans to attack Torrannon and seize it as his own. These two heroines are cast into a breathtaking adventure that compels them to confront their past traumas and their personal identities. In so doing, they realize their self-worth and inner strengths, despite their interpersonal issues. "Reawakened Flames" is exquisitely written. It speaks wonders to its readers. Lindsay McCafferty broaches the topic of mental illness with consideration, sensitivity and respect. The novel encourages readers to not "suffer in silence" when it comes to their mental health and mental care.
