A Heartfelt Tale About Forgiveness and Family I really enjoyed reading this book because of the deep themes it explores. The strongest part of this novel is how real the relationships feel. I really connected with the main characters. Every time I thought I knew what was coming next, the story took another interesting turn. The story moves at a steady pace. The author writes family drama with a lot of warmth and compassion. The writing style is smooth and easy to follow. The author does a great job switching between different time periods and viewpoints. And I loved how the author treats sensitive family topics with a lot of care and heart. The dialogue are natural. There were a few moments in the middle where the emotional tension felt very heavy. But overall hopeful tone keeps the book from feeling too dark and everything came together as the plot progressed. If you enjoy emotional family dramas with romance and deep secrets, I highly recommend checking this out. I am very glad I read it.

I love how Lynn has paced this narrative. The beginning is sweet, though a bit heartbreaking, then moves into some sweeter moments as the twins grow into young adulthood. The narrative continues to mingle sweet, romantic, sad, and heartbreaking moments throughout, pulling your emotions in both directions as you read. This pacing allows you to bond with the characters in a way that leaves you feeling warmth, affection, sadness, and heartbreak as their lives unfold. I just felt my heart melt and rip with every turn of events as the story unfolded. The plot points are also well paced, as the narrative flows smoothly from start to finish. I really loved how all the plot points and arcs connect, showing that the story was planned and written very well, with no points feeling like they lag, drag, or are boring. I just loved how the whole plot fell in place from start to finish. The portrayal of the lives of the twins was eye-opening, as Lynn highlights how the life of one twin affects the other, like Michelle being drawn to Brad since childhood and Shelby feeling that something is missing in her life, yet can’t quite place it. This came out as something I didn’t know is actually factual in real life. The secrets held by the characters make for a good turning of the pages, as they keep you reading, wanting to know how everything will unfold. I especially kept reading to see how it will turn out for Michelle, Shelby, Sam, and Liam, who were my favorite characters in this narrative. I hoped to see some closure on Jennifer’s part, but some things are best left as they are. This narrative is beautiful, heartbreaking, and profound. Beauty in its portrayal of love as it struggles and blossoms in the lives of the characters. Profound in its portrayal of loss and betrayal and their effects on the characters’ lives, and heartbreaking in how things turned out in the end; I just wished things would have been different for all of them. Overall, A Thousand More by K. S. Lynn is just outstanding; I don’t think I have ever read a love novel that is this good. I highly, highly recommend this book to readers who love stories of love mingled with secrets and profound moments.
