Sarah Anderson couldnt believe that her best friend, Lily Morrison, was the prime suspect in the shocking murder of her boyfriend, Luke. Determined to prove Lilys innocence, Sarah dove into the mystery surrounding Lukes death. With her analytical ally, Matthew; her spirited children, Cory and Emma; the playful ghosts Amelia and Simon from her home; and her loyal dog, Pixie, by her side, Sarah was ready to uncover the hidden truths and deceit lurking in the shadows. Together, they navigated the perilous path of discovery, inching closer to the real culprit behind this tangled web of secrets. I love that the book was well plotted and how the writer portrayed the characters and personalities of the book. The storyline was interesting, and I enjoyed reading the book. Overall, I will give this book a five-star rating.

Sarah Anderson and her two children are preparing for the holidays in Rosewood Hollow. Cory is 17- plays hockey and loves making things in the shop class. My son used to make me things in shop class. Emma is 14- loves to read and work in her Aunt Lily's bookshop in exchange for books. I would love that. Lily is Sarah's best friend and owner of the bookstore. Matthew is Sarah's boyfriend. Amelia Simon are ghosts in the house - harmless. By the way, the ghost speak to them. I saw a ghost once when I was young, experience I won't forget. Lily and Sarah's family showed up to open the bookstore. The family is there because Lily was late opening the store, which is unusual. Matthew discovers a dead body in Lily's office. The dead body of Luke- Lily's boyfriend. Quite interesting, the bookstore door is locked from the inside. I would question that. Lily is being accused of murder- impossible - she was not there. I can't get over the fact that there are ghost in the house and the family talks to them. Police revealed that Luke served in prison for manslaughter, but what they failed to mention was that Luke was protecting his sister, and the man died accidentally. Unlawfully tried by the court. Which is typical when police don't do their job. Lets not forget the fact that Sarah has this power where she can speak to her dog pixie. Impossible How does Sarah and her family attempt to enjoy the holidays with Lily as the murder suspect? This story kept my interest from the beginning. A talking dog and ghosts that cause mischief. A murder mystery during the holidays is never good. I was trying to help solve the murder before I reached the end. The author has an amazing imagination.
